Boconnoc Spring Flower Show, Lostwithiel, Cornwall

Yes, it’s a bit of a drive from the North of the county, but as one of the major highlights of the South-West’s garden calendar, Cornwall’s Spring Flower Show is a big draw to the region and has to take our top spot.  Taking place in the grounds of Boconnoc House, the event aims to showcase the very best of Cornish gardens and produce.  There are hundreds of trade stands, stalls, gardening experts on hand, and show gardens to explore – it’s even dog-friendly!

Clovelly Easter Chick Hunt, Clovelly, Bideford, Devon.
Saturday 8th April – Monday 17th April 2017

Children receive a village map on entry on which to mark the location of a number of Easter chicks perched up and down the cottages along the High Street to the quay. If they spot at least 10 chicks, they can return the map to the Visitor Centre reception to win an Easter egg and a bigger prize if they spot all 15.

St Mary Magdalene Choir invite you to join them to sing or listen to Faure’s Requiem.  Starts at 12 noon.  Rehearsal: 5pm. Performance: 6.30pm.  Refreshments and scores available for singers but please bring a score if you have one.  Dress: choir robes or dark clothing.

A Day of Easter Fun for all the family.  Enjoy the Tea room and Kelly House’s Garden.
