What’s On Guide – Easter 2018 in North Cornwall

If these Beasts from the East will finally allow us a springtime, it might just about be time to celebrate Easter!  As usual, local attractions (such as National Trust properties) are all holding some sort of Easter egg hunt or themed events, but here are a few ideas that you might otherwise have missed.  Did we miss a great event?  Let us know in the comments below!


Bird of Prey Talk and Otter Feeding

On your visit to the 21 acre site you will see British & Asian Short Clawed Otters play, eat and sleep in their enclosures.  Enter the “Wildwood” and you will see Wallabies, Meerkats, Servals, Polecats and various Birds of Prey.  Bird of Prey talks at 11.30 & 2.30.  Otter talk and feeding at 12pm and 3pm.  Award winning tea room on site.

Ever wondered where the Easter Bunny’s magic is made? You’re invited to Easter Bunny HQ this holiday to meet the friendly Eggsperts who control the production of the entire world’s chocolate eggs. Venture past their crazy control panel, creep down the bunny-themed secret passage and into the Easter Bunny’s front room, where all those aged 1-12 will meet the Bunny and receive a FREE chocolate egg. Kids will love this memorable and unique Easter experience and each will receive their own chocolate egg direct from the Easter Bunny.

Meet Star Wars Characters
Star Wars fans will be excited to hear that Storm Troopers and other characters from the legendary films are coming to The Milky Way Adventure Park over the Easter holidays. On Saturday the 7th April 2018 you will be able to meet and take pictures with characters from the films as they patrol the park throughout the day.

Easter Lambing
 Lambs expected during February Half Term Holidays and Easter Easter at the BIG Sheep is an exciting time of year with lots of lovely lambs arriving to celebrate the advent of spring. Kid goats and piglets are also likely to arrive during Easter. Join in at the bottle feeding shows (running twice daily)

BIG Sheep Grand National
 A highlight in our sheep race calendar. While many racers are competing in the British Grand National our favourite competiters; Red Ram, Wooly Jumper and Little Pullover to name a few will be battling out for the 2018 Practical Cup. The 6 sheep and their jockeys have been in secret training!

St Endellion Easter Music Festival

Easter Eggstravaganza Family Party – with Magic Martin

Easter Egg Trail Quiz and Mini Fete

An Easter Egg Trail Quiz which involves finding eggs with letters on them hidden in and around St Michael’s Church, Bude then rearranging the letters to find the hidden word and win a Cadbury’s creme egg and a chance to win a big egg. There is also a mini fete with children’s games and refreshments.
