​1. Provisional bookings remain firm for one week pending return of booking form and 25% deposit (cheques payable to Tamar Valley Cottages).

2. The balance is due one month prior to the arrival date. Non payment by this date will be treated as cancellation and the deposit is forfeit.

3. Where bookings are made less than one month prior to the arrival date, the full rental fee is payable immediately.

4. In the event of cancellation, please advise us immediately. We will attempt to re-let the property and return your payment, less a handling fee of £20. If we are unable to re-let, all monies will be forfeit.

5. The cottages are available from 4.00pm on the day of arrival to 10.00am on the day of departure.

6. The number of people occupying a cottage must not exceed the number stated unless by special arrangement with Tamar Valley Cottages.

7. The cottages should be left in the same condition as found. Any breakages should be reported at once and we re-serve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage.

8. In the unlikely event of your cottage being unavailable for reasons beyond our control, eg fire damage, or guest self isolating due to Covid-19 we will endeavour to find similar alternative accommodation or give a complete refund. No further liability will be accepted.

9. Should you or a member of your party fall ill with suspected Covid-19 symptoms and are required to self isolate in a cottage beyond your booked departure date Tamar Valley Cottages reserves the right to charge additional costs to cover the extra nights you require to stay. If the cottage is available for the extra nights you require the charge will be 1.5 times the cost of the weekly rate. If any future booking is affected the charge will be 2 times the weekly rate.

10. The use of accommodation and amenities, particularly the children’s play area, is entirely at the hirer’s risk and children should be supervised at all times. No responsibility can be accepted for illness, injury, loss or damage to the hirer, hirer’s property or companions and guests.

11. The proprietor reserves the right to demand the withdrawal, without notice, of any person whose conduct is prejudicial to the wellbeing of other guests. In such cases the proprietor shall not be liable to make a refund of monies paid.

12. If for any Government COVID lockdown reasons you are unable to stay at Tamar Valley Cottages for the period you have booked, we confirm that we will refund any monies that you have paid to Tamar Valley Cottages. Alternatively we will transfer your booking to an alternative agreed date.
